Voting in the US Election in Brooklyn

I decided last minute to head down to New York from Montreal to witness the biggest election of our time. Obama vs. McCain, and I wanted to be in the belly of the beast when the polls came in. Staying with friend, and Obama supporter (and active member of society, going door to door to get people out and vote, Chirag Patel who lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Here's a short video of his voting experience, and my first look at these archaic washing machines that Americans vote on.

Currently I am sitting artist and freelancer co-working space, 3rd Ward in Bushwick, Brooklyn for the "Call for Change" program, where volunteers get on their cell phones and call the battleground states to get citizens out to vote. In the 3rd Ward there is a poll watching party, with free silkscreening (of Obama's face) and a sculpture of Palin's head.
